The aim of the workshop will be to present the main features of the new humanitarian aid strand of the European Solidarity Corps (European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps): Public, private and international organisations will be able to apply for grants that will allow them to integrate volunteers in support of their humanitarian aid operations in non-EU countries, notably those that facilitate the transition from the humanitarian response to long-term sustainable and inclusive development.

The workshop will present various volunteering experiences that will highlight how the following two objectives of the Corps can be achieved : to contribute to the delivery by host organisations of a concrete and impactful support to the local communities while at the same time promoting the inclusion and the professional development of the volunteers themselves.
