Jennifer Wanjiru Nyanjui (Marika) is Senior Strategic Advisor with over 20 years’ experience delivering innovative technology solutions in multi-million-dollar programme implementations. She has successfully led strategic technology initiatives in a variety of organizational settings in multiple countries across Africa, the Middle East, and the United States. She is experienced in managing geographically dispersed, cross-cultural, and virtual matrixed teams. She strives to develop high-performing teams and drive for excellence in operational processes effectiveness. In just the past decade, she has been a leader and advisor to various multinational organizations, NGOs and agencies including the University of Houston, the One Acre Fund, the World Food Programme, the World Bank, UNICEF and Bridge International Academies. She has successfully led strategic initiatives in the areas of software engineering management, IT infrastructure and operations, technology strategy, solution design, team leadership and strategic planning, within the context of humanitarian programme operations management.
Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston and is a member of the Association of Professional Futurists.
She is passionate about using technology solutions as a force for social change. Particularly, in innovating technology to transform programme operational processes, reimagine humanitarian service delivery, and empower beneficiary communities.
