Reema is the director of partner engagement and programs with the Shared Value Initiative where she collaborates with the SVI team and community to enhance and position its thought leadership. In this role she leads engagement with the Initiative’s community of partners and works with the SVI team to develop and deliver innovative programming that adds value and advances the practice of shared value. Prior to joining FSG, Reema was involved in global health and social development work through her time with the US Pharmacopeia (USP) and University Research Co. (URC), where she led business development and consulting efforts focused on: pharmaceutical quality and its impact in low-to-middle-income countries; gender equity and inclusion in nutrition practices at the intersection of reproductive, maternal, and child health matters; and, the quality of service delivery in TB eradication efforts in Uganda. Prior to 2012, she spearheaded partnership efforts dedicated to the unique commercial and economic relationships between the United States and the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region through her work with the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) and the US-Jordan Business Alliance (USJBA). This involved stakeholder engagement, external affairs, government relations, and program development, including private sector advocacy for the ratification of the US-Jordan Free Trade Agreement and the US-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement.
