Eyeglasses are a ubiquitous, simple tool we take for granted in the developed world, but the infrastructure to deliver eyeglasses to the 2.5 billion people living without them is essentially absent in developing nations.
They have created a simple, easily scaled solution, which includes the USee, an easy to use “self-refraction” diagnostic tool, and snap together eyeglasses. This system can be used by anyone, anywhere in the world.
The Agri Recovery Kit (A.R.K)
The A.R.K. or Agri Recovery Kit is a support tool that assists in the growth of food, supports human connection & facilitates knowledge access for afflicted people & communities after a major disaster.
The kit empowers families and communities to communicate & grow & supply a portion of their own food during the months after a disaster allowing room to secure other necessities and to rebuild.
Faircap
Faircap is a small, portable, easy to use water filter that can be fitted into existing containers, one model can be screwed into a standard soda plastic bottle and another one installed into a jerrrycan or bucket to provide clean drinking water during emergencies for a family.
They can remove bacteria, sediment and larger pathogens and the family version can remove viruses as well.
Equilo
Equilo is a web-based application that harnesses AI to automate the delivery of customized gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) analysis that includes relevant comparative and summary statistics, suggested actions, monitoring and evaluation indicators, the legal and policy context, a local stakeholder directory, and downloadable reports all delivered via a user-friendly dashboard.
