TewoldeDr Tewoldeberhan Daniel has extensive experience on humanitarian response and the life-saving treatment of malnutrition at health facility, sub-national and national systems. He has worked in several humanitarian disasters within East Africa in the last 18 years including the Horn of Africa response during the Somalia famine of 2011. He has worked in Ethiopia, Sudan and Kenya before moving to his current role as Nutrition Manager with UNICEF Eastern and Southern Africa where he is the focal point for nutrition emergencies as well as prevention and treatment of wasting. Before joining UNICEF, Dr Tewolde has worked with Save the Children and World Vision in Ethiopia.
