The search for the hero of the humanitarian sector is on
After a very successful first year, AidEx is pleased to bring back the Humanitarian Hero of the Year Award for 2012. The award was launched to celebrate the first exhibition and aims to recognise individuals from any area of the humanitarian and development aid community.
- Do you know someone who has devoted their entire working life to the aid community?
- Has one of your colleagues shown tireless committment to their role in the sector?
- Or have your own professional accomplishments made a significant and lasting impact on the aid community as a whole?
If the answer to any of the above is yes, then we would like to
hear from you!
Nominations are open to anyone from any area of the community, including those who work for suppliers, NGOs, governmental and intergovernmental agencies.
If you want to nominate a colleague, a former co-worker, a contemporary or indeed yourself, simply send a quick email to rosie.walters@centaur.co.uk telling us why you think that person deserves to win (maximum 200 words).
Nominations close on 17th August and the shortlist will be announced shortly afterwards. An online public vote for the winner will go live a few days later and it will remain open until 5th October. The winner will subsequently be announced at AidEx in Brussels on 24-25 October.
We look forward to reading your nominations!
